Hello, I'm Chef Sam.

I have always had a passion for cooking​,​ and there's nothing more fulfilling than seeing friends and customers enjoy the meals I prepare. For most of my career​,​ I’ve been self-employed​,​ starting as an engineer before transitioning into the jewelry business​,​ where I wholesaled gems and custom-made clothing. However​,​ when COVID hit​,​ I was forced to close my business as I relied on in-person meetings with clients. During this time​,​ I channeled my energy into developing my culinary skills. I took master classes from some of the world's best chefs​,​ attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA)​,​ and immersed myself in cookbooks and online resources. Three years ago​,​ I launched Salat Foods​,​ a food trailer specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. Along the way​,​ I expanded into catering​,​ offering a range of dishes beyond Mediterranean—Italian​,​ Greek​,​ Middle Eastern​,​ and more. I’ve had the privilege of catering for weddings​,​ birthdays​,​ graduations​,​ and special events​,​ bringing delicious flavors to every celebration.
