❓Common Customer Questions

🍽️ How do I book a chef? Browse available meals in your area offered by our diverse chefs, select the service you need (custom, weekly meal prep, or event), choose your date and time, and book directly through our platform. It’s that easy!

💬 Can I request specific meals or recipes? Yes! When booking, you can provide notes to your chef — whether it’s favorite recipes, dietary needs, or general preferences. You’ll also be able to message your chef after booking to finalize details.

🛒 Do I need to provide ingredients? It’s up to you. You can supply groceries yourself or request that the chef shops for them. Most chefs offer grocery shopping for a small fee. You’ll be responsible for grocery costs, and a 3.5% Stripe fee applies to the grocery portion of your invoice.

📆 What if I need to reschedule or cancel? Bookings can be managed through your Kuad account. You may cancel or reschedule anytime — but please note, bookings within 24 hours cannot be rescheduled. See our Cancellation Policy within our Terms of Service for more details.

💳 How do payments work? All payments are securely processed through our platform using Stripe when you book — no cash needed. You’ll also be able to tip your chef directly through Kuad after your service is complete.

🧼 Do chefs clean up after cooking? Yes! Chefs clean their cooking area before leaving, so you enjoy your fresh meals and a tidy kitchen.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Is this service good for families? Absolutely. Kuad is designed for busy households who want affordable, healthy, and delicious meals — without the stress of cooking.

🌿 Can chefs accommodate dietary needs? Of course. Whether you’re gluten-free, vegan, or have specific allergies, just let your chef know during booking and they’ll plan accordingly.

🔒 Are the chefs background-checked? Yes. All Kuad chefs complete background checks and are food safety handler certified before joining our platform.
