❓Common Chef Questions

πŸ’‘ How do I get bookings? Once your profile is approved, customers can find you and send booking requests. You’ll receive an email and a message through the Kuad inbox when a request comes in. Review the date/time/preferences and respond promptly.

🍳 What services can I offer? You can offer:

  • Custom Hourly Cooking – help with batch cooking or co-creating meals
  • Weekly Meal Prep – offer preset or flexible menus for clients
  • Events & Special Dinners – create memorable experiences for gatherings

Each service is fully customizable β€” you set your price, schedule, and details.

πŸ’° How do I get paid? Payments are processed securely via Stripe through the Kuad website. After completing a service, your earnings are automatically deposited to your linked account. Set up payouts via your chef account using your legal name, phone number, and bank details. Need help? Email support@kuad.us.

πŸ›’ Do I need to buy groceries? It depends! Customers may either provide groceries or request that you shop for them. If you shop, you may charge a nominal fee, and the customer covers the grocery cost. Coordinate this via messaging customers in the app.

πŸ” What if a customer cancels or reschedules? Cancellations and changes will show in your inbox and via email. If you can't make a last minute booking, let us know ASAP β€” message us at 804-372-0985. We will try our best to find a sub if needed.
